When Robert Idegren founded Carbomax in 1992, the ambition was to create value for customers through product knowledge, availability and a deep understanding of metallurgical raw materials and processes.
More than three decades later, Carbomax has grown into an established Nordic industrial partner. Along the way, we’ve invested in our own briquetting plant, expanded through the acquisition of AB Ferrolegeringar and developed new solutions within recycling, biocarbon and circular materials.
But the Carbomax story has never been shaped by investments and business decisions alone. It has been built by people – by colleagues who have developed our expertise, strengthened our customer and supplier relationships, solved problems and taken responsibility for moving the company forward.
Today, as part of the Traxys Group, a new chapter has begun. Robert will continue to contribute his experience and perspective through his role on the Board of Directors, while the next phase of Carbomax will build on the collective knowledge, entrepreneurship and commitment of our entire organization.
Carbomax started with an idea in 1992. Since then, many people have helped turn that idea into reality. And together, we continue to build what comes next.
