THINK OPTIMIZATION.

THINK CUSTOM-MADE.

Whatever material specification you search, we source and design carbons and alloys optimized for your process. And to be able to do just that, we analyze, adapt and combine every single raw material to find the perfect solution for you.

What we produce

We design carbons, alloys and briquettes to suit your requirements – however specific.

Our carbon products are processed and custom-made to support carburization, reduction and foaming, for instance. We also have a broad range of bulk alloys and metals, used by steelworks and foundries. These products are not processed by us, although certain processing may occur. We help to recirculate residuals from the steel plants and foundries by producing briquettes, which can be remelted and metals be recovered in an electric arc furnace.

Ferroalloys and metals

Since we offer a complete range of alloys and metals, from bulk to nobels, we can fully customize most orders. Our raw materials come from a wide range of suppliers, many of which are global companies in dominating positions. The raw materials can be designed to fit each one of your needs. And please do ask us about our grain size knowledge and analytical abilities, we would love to learn more about your requirements.

Alloys

We source and design a huge variation of ferro alloys to suit all customers' needs when it comes to chemical analysis, grain size, grain size distribution and packaging. The alloys either help producing the steel, neutralizing impurities or function as the mayor ingredients, adding specific properties.

Metals

We source and refine several types of metals. Mainly when the demands on low impurity are high, and typically late in the process chain at a steel plant.

Wires

We source a wide range of wires from one of the leading European producers. They also have their own access to one crucial raw material – calcium silicon. Wires offer the possibility to make late adjustments, in order to create an exact analysis before casting the steel.

Electrodes

We offer a wide range of electrodes, finished and impregnated by our European partner. This allows us to always maintain a high quality.

FeCr

The chromium in Ferrochromium helps make the steel corrosion resistant, and if it exceeds 12% it is considered a stainless steel. All different types: low-carbon, medium-carbon and high-carbon

FeMn

Ferro Manganese is used in almost all kinds of steel. It helps neutralize the negative effects of residual sulfur and to increase the strength. All different types: medium-carbon and high-carbon

FeSi

Ferrosilicon is widely used as a reduction additive and for alloys in cast iron and steel.

SiC

Metallurgical silicon carbide (SiC88) and other grades.

How we work with carbon

We produce carbons with an optimal analysis and grain size to suit your process. Lately this work includes the possibility to add biocarbon in our products.

Biocarbon

We work hard to introduce biocarbon in every possible carbon product. In order to get the highest quality of the raw material, we work with local suppliers. But we have also invested in our own facilities to even further crush, sieve, and blend biocarbon in all of our products, regardless of if they are delivered from a silo, in big bags or or as a briquette.

Secondary coal sources

Already 25 years ago, we established the sourcing, recovery and adjusting of secondary carbon materials in order to replace virgin materials in the metallurgical industry.

Anthracite

We have worked with anthracite from several different sources since the 90’s. Anthracite is a high-quality carbon source, especially for foaming and recarburization in electric arc furnaces.

Petroleum coke

We have long supplied pet coke of all qualities from several different sources in Europe. The best thing about pet coke is that it has a high carbon content and serves well as carburizer, both in foundries and steel plants.

Graphite

Very efficient for carburizing with quick absorption and high yield. Different types, low in S, N, ash and volatiles.

How we make our briquettes

We are proud for the development of our offers on briquetting. Let us lay out some of the possible prospect for you: lower costs for raw materials as well as reduced use of virgin raw materials, improved material yield, reduced deposit and an adapted, predictable analysis. And for the environment? Well, reduced deposit and dusting, and controlled reuse of materials classified as waste or hazardous waste, are just a few of the benefits. Raw materials can be added to a briquettes to further optimize the analysis.

Briquettes from raw material

Perfect for fine grained materials. When briquetted the yield can be increased when recovered, and at the same time give you a price advantage.

Briquettes of metal oxides and reductant

Perfect in combination with a carbon source, for instance biocarbon in a metallurgical balance. Metal oxides can be reduced to metals with a high yield.

Briquettes from residues in general

We can produce recovery briquettes with up to five different residues. The yield in the recovery can be increased and handling and logistics are of course made easier.

Briquettes, example of a special briquette

Molybdenum oxide, an iron source and carbon can all be briquetted to increase the yield of molybdenum and lower your costs.
