We are now searching for a hands-on and solution-oriented mechanic, with broad mechanical knowledge and practical experience. You have solid mechanical skills and practical experience working with machinery and equipment, preferably from a role as a maintenance mechanic, industrial mechanic, heavy-duty mechanic, or similar. You are comfortable working in a physically demanding production environment involving dust, dirt, and varying temperatures. You are resourceful, flexible, and able to adapt quickly to changing situations, while being comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. A down-to-earth attitude, a willingness to take initiative, and an ability to find practical solutions to mechanical challenges are important to us. You also value good cooperation, contribute to a positive working environment, and have a good sense of humour.

Formal Requirements

• Mechanical expertise: Experience in mechanical maintenance. Your background may be in heavy industry, agricultural machinery, trucks, industrial doors, passenger vehicles, or a similar field. The most important thing is that you have broad hands-on experience working with different types of machinery and equipment.
• Certifications: A valid Hot Work Certificate and a valid Category B driving licence.
• Language: Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Physical requirements: Good physical fitness and mobility. The role involves heavy lifting, frequent use of stairs, and working in confined and ergonomically challenging spaces. You should also be comfortable working in an environment that can occasionally be dusty, with certain tasks requiring the use of a dust mask or respirator.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in welding or knowledge of turning and milling is an advantage.
• Forklift, overhead crane, wheel loader, or MEWP licences are also considered a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical systems is an advantage, and all electrical experience is valued. We also provide on-site electrical training for mechanics.
• Good spoken and written English is also considered an advantage.

As the operation is expected to transition to shift work over time, it is important that you have a flexible attitude towards changing working hours.

Your Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will work closely with our production team. Your work will be driven by current production needs, requiring a high degree of flexibility and the ability to reprioritize tasks when urgent issues arise. Some repairs are carried out in our mechanical workshop, which is equipped with, among other things, a brand-new CNC-controlled milling machine, while other work is performed directly in our production facilities.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Preventive and corrective maintenance: Carrying out repairs, oil changes, and ongoing bearing replacements on screens, elevators, conveyor systems, and other material-handling equipment.

Workshop work: Designing and manufacturing our own components, platforms, and conveyor belt covers in our mechanical workshop.

Health, safety and working environment: Performing regular inspections and checks, for example of compressed-air systems, and strictly following all applicable safety regulations and procedures.

Daily planning: Participating in daily start-up meetings at 7:00 a.m., where we work from the established weekly plan while adapting to the current needs of production.
