Suicide Zero is a non-profit organization that has been working since 2013 to reduce the number of suicides in Sweden. Through raising awareness, identifying gaps in society and spreading knowledge, they help keep an essential issue visible — and push for change where it’s needed most.
We also want to take a moment to highlight March 17, when Suicide Zero publishes its annual report Kommunbarometern. The report maps how Sweden’s municipalities work with suicide prevention and includes concrete examples, solutions and guidance on how these efforts can become even more effective.
We believe it will be important and educational reading, and we hope more people and organizations will join us — and Suicide Zero — on the path toward reducing the number of suicides.
