The last Metalliska Material conference

After 12 years, the final Metalliska Material conference has come to an end.

After 12 years, the final Metalliska Material conference has come to an end. Over more than a decade, the program has brought together companies of all sizes across the industry – creating new collaborations, strengthening networks and driving development forward. Flor Staflin has attended the last three conferences:

– What I’ll take with me the most are all the meetings, both new faces and familiar ones. Everyone was equally great to connect with.

Another powerful takeaway for Flor was the visualisation of how the network has evolved over time. Each dot represents an organization, and together they form clusters of collaboration. From 2016 to 2025, it’s clear how the network has not only grown, but become denser and more connected: a strong result of years of cooperation across the industry.

While this chapter is closing, the work continues. A new program, Metals & Minerals, is already on its way, with its first conference taking place this October.

– It’s exciting to see what comes next – the foundation is there, and the collaboration continues.
