While our roll press is well suited for briquetting many materials, not every material behaves the same way. The extruder adds another agglomeration method to our toolbox – opening up new possibilities for testing a wider range of materials, including those with smaller grain sizes and lower density.
Extrusion is a new method for us at Carbomax, and with Flor Staflin leading the testing, we’re now getting to know the equipment and exploring what it can do. There’s plenty to learn about both the process and its possibilities, and we’re looking forward to seeing where it can take us.
