Last week, we completed the relocation of one of our warehouses from the Port of Västerås to our new logistics partner, AA Logistik, in Hacksta, Västerås.
This move is part of the long-term development of our warehousing and logistics structure, with the aim of creating a more efficient and scalable setup for the future.
Integrating a new external warehouse involves much more than simply moving goods from one location to another. Together with AA Logistik, we have worked extensively on system integration and automated information flows between our systems, in collaboration with Navcite and Corzia.
At the same time, we have adapted our internal routines and ways of working to integrate the new warehouse into our existing inbound and outbound flows. An important part of this work has been establishing clear processes for how different order and material flows should be handled, while ensuring that everyone involved internally understands the new setup.
There have been many pieces to put in place — from systems and information flows to practical routines in the day-to-day logistics operation.
A big thank you to everyone involved for the great teamwork and commitment throughout the process. Together, we have taken another important step in developing our logistics structure for the future.
