This year, our own Andreas Molin attended the conference in Frankfurt to meet industry colleagues, strengthen relationships and stay up to date on the latest developments shaping the market.
As expected, many discussions centered around CBAM and Safeguard measures, and the challenges and additional costs they create for European steel producers. At the same time, the overall mood was positive, with many participants expressing optimism about increased volumes and improved market conditions in 2026 and 2027.
