Building strong partnerships through supplier audits

At Carbomax, supplier audits are about more than quality and delivery performance.

As part of our supplier evaluation process, we aim to carry out on-site audits with our suppliers to ensure that they share and follow the values that are important to us. This includes reviewing how they work with business ethics, working conditions, environmental responsibility and compliance with their own – or our – Code of Conduct.

A few weeks ago, we visited three potential graphite suppliers in China as part of this work.

Being on site gives us a much better understanding of how a company operates in practice. It allows us to meet the people behind the business, see the production processes firsthand and ensure that future partnerships are built on a shared commitment to responsibility, transparency and long-term collaboration.
