A strong collaboration built on innovation and craftsmanship

Recently, we visited Lyrestads Gjuteri, a company we’re proud to collaborate with.

What started as a small family-owned foundry has developed into a forward-thinking business with a clear focus on quality and innovation. Among other things, Lyrestads uses biocarbon and graphite from Carbomax in selected products – and they’ve done an impressive job integrating biocarbon into their processes, something that is both technically advanced and important for the future of the industry.

The visit was also a great opportunity to introduce Mats, our newest Sales Manager, who will become their new point of contact on the sales side. At the same time, Flor Staflin had the chance to get a closer look at the operations and learn more about the foundry’s production and craftsmanship.

Lyrestads Gjuteri is closely connected to Lursta, whose cast iron products can be seen in the background of the photos. Their frying pans and other cast iron products are hand-cast using recycled Swedish iron – a great example of tradition, craftsmanship and circular thinking coming together.
