13 years in the making

Thirteen years ago, we designed our very first briquette, based on mill scale and pet coke. It has been a continuous process ever since, to find the perfect recipe with the lowest possible environmental impact.

Using residuals obviously helps us lessen our environmental footprint, but we are always looking to improve. Since that first briquette, we’ve processed about 30 different residual products (sometimes stand-alone and sometimes combined) from 20 different clients. At most, we’ve used up to five products in a single briquette, in proportion to a declining share.

What have we learned? There’s not just one perfect product – there are hundreds. And depending on your specific needs, we’ll tailor a briquette that’s perfect for you. This way, our briquettes not only improve our climate footprint but yours as well.
